Order
In the circumstances stated by Home Department vide reference 2nd read above, after careful examination of the proposal and in partial modification of the orders issued in the G.O 1st read above, Government have decided to re-organise the post of Reserve Inspector (Armed Reserve) into contiguous Zone cadre under the Department of Police relating to Armed Reserve. Accordingly, the following amendment shall be issued.
AMENDMENT
In the Annexure to G.O.Ms.No.105, General Administration (SPF&MC)
Department, dated:15.07.2026: –
(1) Under item “II. Classes of civil posts organized into Zonal Cadre.”, the
entry relating to Sl.No.2 (Reserve Inspector (Armed Reserve)) along with
appointing authority i.e., Deputy Inspector General, in the corresponding
row and column, shall be omitted; the remaining entry shall continue as
Sl.No.1 (Reserve Sub-Inspector (Armed Reserve)), with its Appointing
Authority remaining unchanged;
(2) After item II, as amended above, the following shall be inserted, namely: –
II-A Classes of Civil Posts organized into contiguous Zone Cadre(either full
or part).

Note: The other conditions as specified in Paras-8 and 9 of the G.O.Ms.No.105,
G.A.(SPF&MC) Department, dated 15.07.2026 shall apply in toto to the above
contiguous Zone cadres, in terms of Para-5(1) of the Presidential Order, 2025.”
2. The Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department, shall take necessary further action in the matter, accordingly.
