G.O.Ms.No.163 – Organisation of local cadres under the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Response and Fire Services – under the Presidential Order, 2025 – Amendment

In the circumstances stated by the Home Department vide references 4th, 5th and 6th read above, after careful examination of the proposals and in partial modification of the orders issued in the G.Os 1st read above, Government have decided to re-organise the posts of Assistant District Fire Officer, Office Superintendent and Senior Office Assistant from Zonal Cadre into Contiguous Zone Cadre and Office Subordinate as District Cadre post, under the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Response and Fire Services. Accordingly, the following amendment shall be issued.

AMENDMENT

In the Annexure to G.O.Ms.No.107, General Administration (SPF&MC)

Department, dated:15.07.2026:–

(1) Under item "I. Classes of civil posts organized into District Cadre", the following

shall be added as Sl.No.4, namely:–

(2) Under item "II. Classes of civil posts organized into Zonal Cadre", the entries

relating to Assistant District Fire Officer, together with the corresponding

Appointing Authority, shall be omitted; the remaining entries i.e., Station Fire

Officer, shall continue as Sl.No.1, and Senior Office Assistant and Office

Superintendent, shall be renumbered as Sl.No.2 and Sl.No.3 respectively, with

their respective Appointing Authorities remaining unchanged;

(3) Under item "III. Classes of civil posts organized into contiguous Zones", the

following shall be substituted, namely:–

III. Classes of Civil Posts organized into contiguous Zone Cadre(either full or

part).

Note: The other conditions as specified in Paras-8 and 9 of the G.O.Ms.No.107,

G.A.(SPF&MC) Department, dated 15.07.2026 shall apply in toto to the above

contiguous Zone cadres, in terms of Para-5(1) of the Presidential Order, 2025.”

2. The Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.
